Texas Pool and Spa Expo, formally known as the Texas Pool and Spa Show, has strengthened its ties with the renowned
Genesis 3 Design Group creating a powerhouse for the highest quality education in the industry.
On June 23, 2008, Texas Pool and Spa Expo announced the addition of the, “Genesis Design Group,” programs as an integral component of the new, “Texas Pool and Spa Expo,” scheduled for January 14 through 17, 2009. “We are thrilled with the energy and college level education credibility that Genesis brings to the table,” says Tim Long, President. “Their experience in education will help us improve all of our education offerings including our service oriented classes, which have always been a backbone of our show.”
“Genesis has narrowed its show offerings to just three North American shows each year,” said Brian Van Bower, president of Genesis. “We have a large presence at the international show in Las Vegas with Hanley Wood, The Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo in Toronto, and now the regional Texas Pool and Spa Expo. This will allow our students to maintain their momentum in the Society of Watershape Designers' accreditation education,” said Van Bower.
"We are also pleased to announce Pentair Water as one of the 2009 major sponsors,” said Long. “With the support of our sponsors, like Pentair, the Texas Pool and Spa Expo will be able to provide the highest quality of education to all the pool professionals in this region.”
A highlight Event for this year’s show will be the, “Texas Shootout,” a function that incorporates a B.B.Q. in the evening, with a trap shooting competition during the day and other activities which will be fun for the whole family. The proceeds of the trap shooting competition will be donated to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, a local children’s hospital which treats children with orthopedic conditions free of charge to the families.
The 2009 Texas Pool and Spa Expo will be managed by Lisa Bouton with Limitless Boundaries, who has a long history of managing some of the largest U.S. regional show venues.
