IPSSA WATER CHEMISTRY & IPSSA EQUIPMENT

With the upcoming possibility of the state requiring a type of certification for our Industry, this would be a good time to get certified.

Items you will receive for taking these classes:

A certificate for class room hours completed.
IPSSA’s class room books and workbooks.
Students who pass the tests will receive a letter from IPSSA
Region 9 notifying them of their test scores.

IPSSA Basic Training - Part 1 - Water Chemistry
FRIDAY, JANUARY 16TH 8am - 9:45am

This class focuses on water chemistry and provides instruction on water properties, pool types, volume calculations, standards, measurements, balancing water chemistry, chemistry of chlorination, types of chlorine, protecting chlorine, chlorine generators, water testing and calculating & making chemical adjustments. The course prepares you for the IPSSA Basic Training - Part 1 - Water Chemistry Test. All class participants will receive an IPSSA approved textbook and a workbook on water chemistry.

IPSSA Basic Training - Part 1 - Water Chemistry Test
FRIDAY, JANUARY 16TH 10am -11am

This session offers the IPSSA required test for water chemistry. Participants have one hour to complete the exam. Those achieving a score of 90 or higher will receive a certificate of completion for the Water Chemistry Course and an IPSSA cloth patch. All participants will receive a certificate of class hours attended.

CLASS TWO: IPSSA Basic Training - Part 2 - Equipment
SATURDAY, JANUARY 17TH 8am - 9:45am
EXAM 10am - 11am

This class focuses on pool equipment and systems. The student will learn about hydraulics, pumps, motors, filters, skimmers, fittings, valves, heaters, heat pumps and solar plus automatic pool cleaners. The course adequately prepares you for the IPSSA Basic Training - Part 2 - Equipment Test. All class participants will receive an IPSSA approved textbook and a workbook on pool equipment.

CLASS TWO: IPSSA Basic Training - Part 2 - Equipment
SATURDAY, JANUARY 17TH 10am - 11am

This session provides the IPSSA sponsored test for pool equipment. Participants have one hour to complete the exam. Those achieving a score of 90 or higher will receive a certificate of completion for the Pool Equipment Course and an IPSSA cloth patch. All participants will receive a certificate of class hours attended.
